In sponsoring the training of one student, you will be responsible for positive, lifelong changes that affect not only that student, but his or her family and children.
We choose students prepared to devote themselves to overcoming the painful struggles faced all too often in their daily lives. Our application and interview process is thorough, our curriculum challenging and rigorous. Our students arrive in class the first day in street clothes, with little idea of the possibilites that lie ahead, and leave 12 weeks later in chef's uniforms and with useful, employable skills.
What goes on in the classroom is not just school, but the work of building awareness, confidence and the personal skills necessary to lead a productive, dignified and sustainable life.
For R10,000 ($1,500 US), one student can complete the course and likely obtain a job that he or she could not have dreamed of prior to starting the class.
Whether you wish to sponsor the complete tuition of a young man or woman, or a fraction of that tuition, your generosity will be deeply appreciated. Further, if you desire, you will be kept apprised of your student's progress and development throughout the course.
